are there any side effects to implementing your own speedhacks into roms and then using TYL automatically loading more into them before the rom runs?
because i found this tool that automatically does it for you and it seems to gain the rom about 3-5 fps in some cases
are there any side effects?'

there's no special "speedhacks on top of s9XTYL".... s9XTYL applies automatically speedhacks if the option is turned on and speedhacks exists in the DATA/snesadvance.dat file. the others "hack" are in the hack/Debug submenu and are no speed hacks, but emulation hack. mainly rendering hack, which can help in some cases to increase overall speed
