Hey All, Small report on the FANTASTIC new 0.4me I'm using it on PSP 1.0 and my roms come from a recent goodset. First, it's incredibly fast, even at FSkip set to 0! 90% of the games i tried run at fullspeed with FS0 and sound 44100Hz F-zero runs like on the sfc hardware itself, it's a real pleasure ;D Kudos for your time & hard work to make this possible! Here are a few suggestions : - an option to toggle the "toc" sound ON/OFF in the menu (please, please, please!) - a small browser dedicated to listening to SPCs. - If it's possible to raise the native emulation volume for games and SPCs by quite a lot because even with the PSP sound volume set to max, it's really not high compared to other emulators (max psp volume on 0.4me is equal to about half psp volume on Dgen 1.40!) For the bugs: - saving a screenshot of the "Captain Commando" title screen doesn't work, the image is black (rom is "good" and plays fine). - The ROMID and Company field is often wrong or scrambled when launching a rom (possibly because the rom is zipped?) Well actually, that's all i can think of, which shows how it ROX! See you! Alcahest

why not, I'll add it!
it's planned but not top priority
already discussed : snes uses sample and no fm synthesis, ... anyway, it should be possible to improve the sound output with a small overhead, I'll check this later.
weird! try to only take a snapshot when in the menu (don't do anything else) and/or try to change the gfx engine
well actually most roms have the romid and company field wrongly filled...

> why not, I'll add it! (toggle menu sound) Great, thanks > anyway, it should be possible to improve the sound output > with a small overhead, I'll check this later. (sound vol) That would be awesome because, i don't know if it's possibly because i'm on 1.0, but the sound level is really weak even at MAX. > weird! > try to only take a snapshot when in the menu (don't do > anything else) and/or try to change the gfx engine Yes, it worked, when engine was set to "accurate soft" only, thanks > well actually most roms have the romid and company field > wrongly filled... Maybe it's the detection routine from Snes9x, not the PSP port that is the problem because with tools such as CTOOL163 which show the rom header, they are correct. Also! I've just though of another little enhancement for "Inputs Config". If we can assign a button to "ROM BROWSER". Then I could set "Menu" to analog left and "Rom Browser" to analog right See you! Alcahest Edit, another small bug, "O Detect Mode" in Inputs Config doesn't work for analog pad and detect it as digital pad. Exemple, left analog is pressed and TYL detects left digital. Edit2, i just had a weird crash. The PSP led was blinking in green, so i plugged the AC adapter. Led became red (charging), then 2 or 3 seconds later, an error message appeared but it was too fast, then a red screen with "Will go back to the PSP menu in 10 seconds", then PSP switched off.

Did you try to take snapshots when engine was set to "accurate soft" only ? It worked for me. Yoyo, do you have the Detection bug too? And what do you think of the idea to make it possible to assign a button to "Rom browser"? ^^ See you!
