The dragon ball z fighting games on the snes are abit wierd, the stages are huge and when you get too far apart from your opponent theres a split screen, and when this happens it can slow down to 50 fps when both characters on the ground, and 20 fps when one is in the sky and one is on the ground. There is also considerible slowdown when you fire an energy blast and an aura appears around you. Its def gotten better with .4me, but it is abit slow still. defeneatly playable though. However, Hyper Dimension is considered to be one of the best 2d fighting games ever made, and its got amazing graphics for the snes. This game runs at an average of 35 fps, even at the menu. I remember reading somthing about .4 allowing you to apply your own speed hacks, how would you go about doing this? i dont know how much it wold help, but it has to help some.. Thanks, sorry for the long read. all those images are form hyper dimension, you can probably tell why its so slow on the psp heh actually you know what? now that i think about it, the reason i got a psp in the first place was cause i heard there was emulation on it and i always wanted to play this game at school or somthing. this was a year ago now, it jsut about crashed my psp when i loaded it lol.

well snesTYL applies speedhacks by default if it finds any.. someone said he had a program to manually hack a rom so there were even more speedhacks.. but wasn't confirmed
