So my friend has a 2.0 and uses standard version and I have a 1.5 and also used standard version. Ad-hoc is not working or I have no clue how to get it working. We had our network switches up and had the same ROM (battletoads double dragon) but it didnt work =[. Can anyone explain why? Do both of them have to be zipped or something?

Try turning sound off and putting the CPU to 266MHZ. It worked for my two 2.6's to play Ad-Hoc.

You should better downgrade the 2.0 PSP to 1.5 and try ME version on both psp.

Yes. I think at this point in PSP homebrew, anyone with a 2.00 PSP should downgrade to 1.50. I downgraded and don't regret it in the least. The 1.50 ME version of this EMU is beyond amazing. Truly a rewarding experience. I have yet to try network play.
How does adhoc play on 1.50 PSP's? Any major problems noticed?

UPDATE:
I dont know what I did exactly to get it working but ad-hoc IS possible between a 2.0 and 1.5 if they are both using standard version. I didn't really get to test it out myself since I was busy today aso I let my friend mess around with it. However, I did unzip my roms before my friend tested it out since my friend initially had his unzipped (unzipped roms also had different names than their zip counterpart).
