Do you plan to correct the 2 player support in games that don't really require 2 psp but the players are taking turns?

you mean it doesn't work ?
did you try the "input select" option in menu / controls ?
by default the value is joypad #0
if you change this to joypad #1 it should emulate the second joypad...
