i'd like to know if the .41 speedbug also occurs @ 1.5 so could someone with a 1.5 test the fps @ 333 mhz and 266 using the .41 USER version? (not ME) if the bug is there, 266 should be faster. thanks!

ok, here's what i got on Super Mario Bros. 3 in the title screen 222=40-45fps 266=55-59fps 333= solid 60fps so no there is no bug, 333 gives you more fps than 266, sorry

Seems like there is a problem with the eLoader. Anyone test if this problem exist in previous versions of TYL with the latest eLoader or eMenu?

If you put 0.4ME on your 1.50 PSP, you'll be blown away. I use the ME version on my 1.50 PSP and WOW! What an amazing job the TYL team did on this. Truly a joyous time for PSP homebrew. Especially on 1.50 Keep up the ingenius work Yoyo & Laxer3a

skeldwar pay attention.
they were testing a bug. A bug occures on 2.0+ psp's using eloader, where though it says 333mhz its actually running at 222mhz.
The test was to check if the same bug was happening on 1.5
Now then, i have the same bug on 2.6 with eloader 0.9.7 alternative with the custom emenu. and im just waiting for a patch or fix from yoyofr or fanjita, where ever the bug lies.
But if you want my input on the speed test, It should be done with the speed limiter off. Cause it would really show the difference between 266mhz and 333mhz on many of the test. (showing a 1-3fps difference doesnt really get the point across)
But thats just my opinion.

thanks master.
ya manias and i narrowed it down to eloader 0.9.7 itself. since 0.9.6 ran quite well
0.9.6 333mhz = 333mhz 0.9.7 333mhz = 222mhz

Why would you NOT be using the ME version? Because the user version works at full speed with no bugs on the ROM you want to play and you really like sleep mode? I'm often in environments where I get to play 5-10 minutes at a time (airports, etc.) so having the ability to use sleep mode is a huge bump for me. Provided the game works well enough, that is. I do use the ME version for games which seem to have a problem with the user version (Super Mario RPG on 0.3 did, for instance).

Super Mario Bros 2. still needs frameskip 1, but if you use vsync on the ME version on super mario 3- it runs at 59fps. Pretty Darned impressive.
