eloader affect speed?

I just upgraded my eloader to 97 from 95 and all my roms seem to run at a lower framerate... does this have anything to do with it?

Also, I unfortunately have 2.6: is everything inherently slower just because of this? I'm reading about people getting 60fps w/o tweaking at all... and I don't see it even when I do tweak, esp for Mario... Any suggestions? I'd be deliriously happy if I could get a solid 40 fps on any of these games...

ya theres a problem somewhere causing s9xTYL 0.4.1 standard to run at 222mhz even though it says 333mhz.

not sure if its eloader or what ever, but it only seems to be happening on 2.0+ using eloader.

for now, set it to 266mhz, until the bug is fixed or an eloader config file is released or something.
