Get version 0.9T of LJP (release by myself, hence the 'T' ;D) below: www.freewebs.com/hxs2/sms.htmThe only change from 0.9 is that it includes SMS/GG support! Atari VCS can be chosen in the launcher and ROMs can be placed and seen in the VCS/Roms directory but the emulator itself is not there so don't bother yet (it's only a placeholder). Known issues apart from those mentioned in the changes.txt file: - Memory leak somewhere prevents used memory from being freed so you lose 3MB of memory for each run of the emulator. This should be fixed soon.

Nice work, Tinnus. Can't wait to post some results. ;D Here's the result so far, Almost all Sega Master System games give me fatal exeception. Super Tetris work but the screen get cut off and sound is messup. None of the Sonic games work. I haven't try any Game Gear games yet. Hopefully the result is a little better. Keep up the good work. I have faith that LJP will be totally awesome once it's final. ;D

Yeah it will be... 0.9 still angers me with the SNES mapping/GUI strangeness issues, thus I still see no need to upgrade. I DO have the controller as of Yesterday (Wed.) WOOHOO! But not being able to use the adapter at the same time to keep from draining my battery is my only issue. I did find a pretty neat under/overclocker for Palm OS from ClieVideo.com (go to www.clievideo.com/beta/lightspeed/download.html and select your device to d/l if its on the list -- if not your device isn't supported, you need the version specific to your correct device and model type). Also, even with the controller (here I was thinking there were more buttons, and why aren't X/Y above A/B??!) I still have to keep v0.8 as the buttons aren't enough to resolve the whole issue I had with Chrono Trigger. Anyways v0.8 is far less glitchier and building on v0.9 it isn't that wise, since it'll have the aforementioned SNES mapping/GUI issues too. If you'd have made it 0.8T I might have given it a try.

Well, mapping and the GUI are working for SMS. That's really weird since the GUI code is shared by all modules.

This is exciting work Tinnus. Thank you.
Thus far I haven't had much luck getting GG games to run on the TH55. I began with zipped roms which .9T apparently doesn't recognize quite yet. Once I unzipped the ROMs I get the FATAL EXCEPTION (RESET) pop-up. This appears not when I first load the ROM but after I've gotten through the into screens, into the main menu, and clicked START. To make sure there wasn't any odd conflict I did a backup,a hard reset and checked for the same problem with a clean install--no change. Hope this helps you. Let me know if you need any more information.

All of the games? Please list any non-working and working games here. I'm looking into the ZIP issue.
BTW all of the sonic games have this exact problem you described.

ZIP issue fixed. Now it auto-detects if the ROM is GG or SMS. ROM is copied to feature (storage) memory thus reducing heap usage. SMS is almost working. Speed seems to be better as well -- GG runs fullspeed with AdvMAME2x at 192MHz, Frameskip 0.
I'd risk saying it's even faster than Gizmo Ultra now. Let's see when I get sound working.

Almost. Give me a couple of days and I'll get it to work perfectly. The biggest issue next are the graphical glitches that appeared during the port from GuineaPig. BTW, if anyone could, please test some sonic games and tell me if they give you a Fatal Exception. I think skeezix said they work well on his T3 so it might just be the T|E or something.

OMG. SMS IS WORKING! Man that's just so stupid. I will NEVER understand how a bitmaps pitch works. Really. I just know that setting bitmap.pitch to some crazy value made it work ;D
BTW the graphical glitches are gone too. I'm just too excited about this. ;D
Only left are: - Sound (I think I might just manage to do it right in some days) - Some games giving a Fatal Exception (Aladdin, Alex Kidd, Sonic) for no apparent reason. Weird thing is, in most cases it seems to happen only when you're playing and not in the intros or title screens. Hm... maybe too many sprites at once? It must be a memory leak somewhere... And I've confirmed, the same games have this problem in GuineaPig. So it's not my fault. ;D

Do you think the sound case might be the same as the genesis emulation with the sound ZX80? Some games required you to use ZX80, like Sonic to hear sound or play correctly? I am not sure but maybe some games have different coding for sound or something. Glad to hear the sms is working.

Can't wait for your Duke3D port. ZQuake, ZHexen, and ZDoom port by Yo yo are awesome. They work smoothly on my T3. Sometime I wish I took more programming classes.
