there've been so many threads and duplicate "bug" mentions about this.. the old savestates bug. so if you can, play the game until you can _normally_ save, then restart the rom from that save, and then make new savestates.
otherwise search around for some other fixes (with background music etc) but it's all already here! No need to double/triple/quadruple post!
