Give us more information. - Your model - Your free memory - Are you using UDMH or any other background/hack programs? - What ROM(s) did you try? - What version of LJP? 0.9 is a little buggy, try 0.8.

I've tried UDMH on my Palm with no luck on my Tungsten E2. All UDMH seems to do for me is make applications think there is more dynamic memory but none of the applications can seem to use it even when I have 5MB of storage memory free. When trying to play any SNES games (even the 512k ones), I get cannot sys_alloc a thousand times if I'm not using UDMH (like with ZHeretic and ZHexen which I think are awesome too), but the only difference is that in ZHeretic and ZHexen it goes on to play the game fine. In LJP I get:
Out of Memory
*Tap the screen*
DataMgr.c, Line: 8872 DmWrite:DmWriteCheck failed
Reset
I get "Out of Memory" then Fatal Error even when using UDMH. Other ROMs seem to play fine provided I have Reset the device and not used other games (otherwise I get a Fatal Exception). I really want to get Mario Kart happening on my device. Do you have any other ideas?

Try freeing up more memory on your palm pilot.

Like at least 8 MB free. I keep even more free, and get no errors running any snes or gens game.

No, forget about freeing internal memory since the T|E2 is NVFS. Read the LifeDrive & NVFS topic up there. A bit of luck is needed too.
