Well...
First thing a want to say is thank you to the developer of this great application...
Second one is a just downgrade my psp version from 2.71 to 1.5, so I'm completely newbie with this stuff...
Third one, I downloaded some Roms and I'm trying to play them, but I got the next message:
"[Game Name] [bad checksum] LoROM, 16MBits" "Type ROM+ROM+Bat, Mode:20, TV: NTSC, S-RAM: 8Kb" "RomId: Appear Japanese Text" "No set found, using default"
Thanks...

I'm having the same problem.. My PSP says "LoROM: Bad Checksum" whenever i try to load a rom. I've tried multiple roms from different sites. Is there a special format I need or something..? Any help would be appreciated! ;D Thanks!

although i have managed to find a few roms which work, more do not work and give me the same error message you both are receiving about a bad checksum or what not, if anyone knows why this is happening any help would be great, i have 4 roms which actually play well though so its weird why most others dont work.

alrite its weird, it seems if you have the bad checksum messages and cant get the roms to load, if you do a hard reboot and get back into the emulator all the bad roms will read again. all my roms now work.

The snes9xTyl emulator starts up and shows mario's intro and then goes to the screen with Akuma as the background, but I can't figure out where to put the roms to get them to appear in the Akuma screen. I explored many avenues before I posted so I'm not just trying to get an easy answer. Please help! I love SNES and want to play it on psp.

The roms can be placed anywhere, you just have to navigate to them on this "Akuma" screen you described (I changed the background so it isn't that anymore ) Note that roms have to be in .zip format (zipped) or .smc to be detected and displayed by the emulator (I think) There may be other file type supported (.fig perhaps) but as a general rule I just zip them all up to reduce file size

can also be due to translation patches gone wrong etc.
