I haven't seen any mention of the PSP mod chip Undiluted Platinum on here so I thought I would post some information regarding it.
I am running:
firmware: 2.71 Undiluted Platinum mod chip with Epsilon 1.1 bios.
And I'm happy to say that both the normal and me versions of snes9xTYL work perfectly with it and require no boot loaders or additional utilities, it just works.
But there is one thing to note. When viewing the contents of the memory stick under games, a corrupt file is shown under game saves which is actually part of snes9xTYL and shouldn't be deleted. And another corrupt file is shown alongside the snes9xTYL emulators icon in the games list, but again this is part of the emulator and shouldn't be deleted.
Deleting these files the show as corrupt would actually delete one of the two snes9xTYL directories from the memory stick.
Apart from that, the emulator runs as expected with the Undiluted Platinum mod chip installed using both Epsilon bios versions 1.0 and 1.1

that's why you have to rename the two directories. This isn't snestyl related but basic 1.5-based exploit -> rename the folders __SCE__snestyl and %__SCE__snestyl if you do that, the corrupt icons will disappear. note: % up front.
