i was thinking if you could make a hack for ff6, if youre on the world map and you do some tuning in hack and debug the map diseapers. could you kinda make a force that the world map always apeaers i dont care if its in not transparant or its still shown in battles and towns

That's probably not possible even you hack the ROM due to the way the hardware works. ie: some parts of it are in a different state.
Why the heck do you want that anyway?

Making something disappear to nowhere is usually easier than making something appear from nowhere

Ah, I understand now. You mean it doesn't appear when it should.
Sorry, don't have a clue here.

i mean if you change some settings like changing the graphic mode to approx mode or set no transparansis on then the map is gone if you set the back to default the map is shown!

Then just set if back to default when you want it to show Find out what exactly makes it not appear then turn that off when you want to see it. You should be able to survive the speed loss.

I agree with tinnus. Speed loss on Mode 7 is not too bad in most games. Worst I have seen are FFVI, Seiken Densetsu 3, and Mario Kart. All are still playabe and it is a negligable issue imho.
