I'm new to using PSP homebrew and the SNES emulator was the first thing I tried. It works fine but for some reason it seems a bit slower than usual. When I play Super Metroid, I can definately tell is slower. Also it has some weird problem with the graphics of smus ship during the intro. Any ideas how this can be fixed?

There is a large assortment of info on this site about how to use the emulator and what settings it shoudl be at. First make sure your CPU setting is 333 MHZ. Then adjust based off what others have posted. Also the PSP is not quite strong enough to get all games to work. There are graphic errors and slowdown. This is because it is emulated on a portable, and relatively weak system. Still most games are playable and at 60 or close to 60 FPS.

Usually graphical mess-ups occur if the graphic mode isn't set to accurate, but that will slow things down a bit Biggest speed boost available is by using the ME version, but that requires FW 1.5 (kernel access)
