SRAM Write problems

Well, I don't really know where to start, so I'll start with some stats.

snes9xTYL 0.4.2me
Firmware 1.5

I've been using snes9xTYL since 0.2, and it's been good.
Anyways, in this latest release, it seems to be confused.
Whenever I load up my FF3, it rewrites a new SRM save-file, even if there is something there. It doesn't check it or anything, just overwrites a new SRM with no saves.

I say, WTF?

P.S. The saves are created by the current version, and I have tried this over and over, and it never retains the SRM save.

try reinstalling SNESTYL and make sure you DL it from this site. Also try reformatting the card.

chck the memstick for corruption...? chkdsk it
this is not a snes9xtyl problem as nobody else has this..
