Hi, Just got my PSP a couple of days ago, discovered eLoader and snes9xTYL tonight... Very impressed overall so far, great job to the developers, but I'm having some problems with F1 Pole Position crashing. I'm running official 2.71 fw, eLoader 0.9.9, and snes9x 0.4.2. The game will load flawlessly, and get as far as the car settings screen, but when I exit that screen to actually go to a race it crashes rather spectacularly, showing the following eLoader errors: This application has crashed. Exception - Coprocessor unusable [Stack trace] Press any key to exit And after a few seconds my PSP turns off. Doesn't seem to have any ill effects from that, although from what I've read these programs are supposed to handle crashes a TAD more gracefully . Is this a known problem? Are there certain emulator settings that can help? Any help would be appreciated, I've got the TA-082 board so I don't really have any alternatives that I've found yet for emulation...

You can use reverse devhook to emulate 1.50 and run the ME version, I think.

yeah, i think you use hen c to emulate 1.5. I really dont have any idea about it though.

I thought HEN was only meant to enable you to run homebrew via the XMB in 2.71...

Well, all i know is chaoszero just realeased a nice installer for henc that includes devhook and the 1.5 fw, so figured that was how its done. Its nice and easy to use, so check it out at psp-hacks.com comdude.

Thanks for the replies. I'm new to this so I'm not sure what all of those ideas meant...
-I was under the impression that with the TA-082 board I can't do much in the way of firmware modifications? -What's ME/User?
I downloaded eLoader and the version of snes9x that was said to be compatible with it (using the TIFF exploit), other games (ie Super Mario World) work fine, so I figured this was just an issue with this game... anyone else tried playing it?

the psp has 2 processors.. usermode only allows one. the other one, the Media Engine (ME) is accessable only in kernel access -> 1.5 firmware. this cannot be done on ta082 -> they can only go down to 2.5 iirc
