I'm using snes9zTYL on 2.8 and I cant get it to save. It flashes saving state very quickly but doesn't do anything. I have this problem with all roms. Any help is appreciated

I think .srm would help with that kind of problem. Not that I know because I'm still learning how to get the game work in SNES.
How do I know that? Well, I remember reading that somewhere.. Maybe (game).smc.srm might help?

.srm is the game's battery-backed save. i.e. the built-in save feature of the game - the data goes into the .srm
.smc is the game
I would strongly recommend downgrading to 1.5 in order to fix any problems you'll ever have with homebrew
