Not sure what you mean by "ripping of terrain" >< Can you explain exactly what you see? I've played Earthbound beginning to end on 0.4.2me with no problems whatsoever... Should probably mention which version you're using and what settings too

well it doesnt happen after you enable Vsync however vsync makes the emu really slow. like when you walk and the terrain moves unevenly. like a horizontal line that has the effect of when a flame causes an image to ripple, yeknow like how pictures in the desert and other hot areas ripple
do you understand what i mean? i cant really think of a word that would describe it lol

Ah that. No, there is nothing you can do about it. Has to do with the way the graphics are drawn on the screen, you might see a horizontal line scrolling slowly downwards where everything above it is slightly more to the left then everything below it... it's *barely* noticeable though

Aye, Manias is right, accurate is very very imporant Using 0.4.2me psp accel. + accur. soft. Zoom 4/3 smoothing yes speed limit switch yes speed limit fps auto frameskip auto (some prefer manual settings, but I leave on auto since some games just don't work without it - Secret of Evermore to name one) Vsync no Render PAL as NTSC yes gamma correction 0
sound: emulated, output frequency 44100Hz APU Cycles ratio 100.00%
-Probably didn't have to mention half of these settings but I like to be as accurate as possible ^^
