Hello, I just got my psp and it has firmware update 3.10, any chance an emulator would work on that ? ( I'd geuss not but I can hope)

3.10 is THE most recent There is nothing to be done about that one at this time...

you can downgrade 3.03 not sure if you can also do 3.1, check the qj.net forums!

Nah, the security hole they found on 3.03 and down was fixed in 3.10 (it was the main reason for releasing 3.10 so quickly)

return your PSP and go to a used game dealer (pawn shop/gamestop) and buy one with firmware v3.03 or below then downgrade to v1.50 then upgrade to the custom firmware v3.03/v3.10 OE-A'. it's well worth the time and effort plus you save $$. Games are pretty much homebrew base after that...or download iso if you have the original copy. did i forget to mention your ps1 games on v3.0x ... i did.

Mind you, the exploit to downgrade 3.03 (and most recent versions) requires an unpatched version of GTA: LCS... (the UMD) I don't know how hard those are to come by O.o

or download iso if you have the original copy. He meant "dump ISOs from your UMDs if you have the original copy
