Hi, complete newbie to homebrews and psp emu's. I have a psp with firmware 3.01, i was wondering if snes9xtyl will work on my system? i've read a lot through diff forums but they all talk in tech speak, can anyone set me straight in simple terms?
also ive heard of devhook, what is this and would it work on my psp? lol

Short answer: No. Long answer: You can get it to work... Assuming you have a GTA: LCS UMD that's UNPATCHED (that means it comes with a firmware 2.0 update, and NO HIGHER!) What you do is you have to first UPGRADE your PSP to firmware 3.03, then DOWNGRADE back to 1.50. From there, you can either keep it as it is an run homebrews (a.k.a. you can run SNES9XTYL strictly under 1.5), OR you can upgrade to a Custom Firmware (The newest custom firmware 3.30 OE-A just came out--it's made by Dark_AleX), which will still allow you to run homebrews.
