What? No Genesis? Well, good luck on that. Anyways, just thought I'd let you know I tried the binary link, but there seems to be nothing there. At least GetRight can't find it. I'll be getting an actual Genesis hopefully soon, so no big deal there. Anyways, you might wanna look into that URL issue. I'd get your version, but right now still have 0.8 and would try a previous version of yours but would rather wait and get the latest one as it seems you've corrected a lot of bugs. Keep me updated!

You know what never mind about the URL issue. I just told GetRight not to catch it and the normal IE download method found it. I'm getting it now...

Well... Still have the memory card error... LJP doesn't know where to load the modules... so I have to copy in both memories: INTERNAL and into my SD at first launch... you won't see your games... after you click in Unarchived... then voilá... they pop out from no where... yo have to do this with every module... btw... go to video and set the display size... at start is set to 'null' (well... it's empty... but for all the people that are in software coding world... null is an very well know term) After reset... with UDMH enabled... and background music... I have a Fatal Exception crash... so... no bg music to increase stability... (the music is a nice feature... ) Nes module... ok Snes module... going from nes... a sure crash... after reset... Fatal Alert: MemoryMgr.c, Line:3776, Invalid handle... then reset... (with audio, no audio, transparencies on/off, fast sprites on/off, asm/c... every flavor... no luck) Gens module: check video settings... audio settings volume was in 682!!!... after the config.... it works fine... GB module... ok!!! (well... if you haven't set the audio in 44Khz you'll get bizarre audio fx... ) GG module... 1x works fine... 2x and filters are great ;D ... still no sound SMS module... udhm enabled/disabled... interacting with gui... no interacting with gui... whatever you do, you cannot enter to config... cannot launch any game... Well... that's all I can help you testing... was a wonderful and thrilling night... soft reset after soft reset... begging not to have a hard reset... but everything I do was for the sake of having a decent and free emulator!!! Keep the good work guys... I know you have your lives/work/etc... C'ya for the next testing... hehehe oops... ! I forgot... I have a T5 and I'm a registered UDMH user!!!

Hi everybody,
Hard'n'soft-ware:
palmOne Tungsten T5 1GB MMC Card UDMH 2.8 LJP 0.9.2T
So far the test drive:
- The launcher hangs every time when I try to select an emulation target other than default. That is,: 1. I start LJP, GB is selected by default. It reads "No ROM". 2. I click "No ROM" button, the ROM list is empty. 3. I click "Unarchived" list box, the ROM list fills with ROM .zip-s (or do not click, that does not matter). 4. Then I try to select another emulation target, say, GENS. It reads "No ROM" and PDA hangs.
- Ok, I reset my T|T5 and run LJP once again. Then I run a game with the default emulator and exit back to the launcher. Voila, the other emulators' ROM lists now available (though I have to select "Unarchived" every time) and do not freeze my PDA - provided that I do not turn sound on for GG emulator.
- Spontaneous crashes occur, like "Invalid memory chunk ptr" or simply "Fatal error" - when launching a game or exiting back to launcher.
More to come...
BTW, one may wish to create categories for ROMS from inside the launcher - this may be also put onto the LJP wishlist.
Thank you, guys, for you good work, anyway.

1) forgot to say, you HAVE TO delete the previous version before installing this one or weird things WILL happen. 2) the page is updated, try refreshing 3) I plan on adding a window to the launcher to create and manage categories, just wanted to release this as a beta before

Congradulation Tinnus on being a mod.
I have a question, is it possible to implement sound in both GG and SMS? Both of the emus were almost perfect on my T3. Some games screen were a little cutoff but it's not a big issue. It would be great to have sound. I haven't test V.2 yet but I'll post some result when I do. ;D Keep up the good work mate.

Sure it is possible and it must be easy but I'm just too dumb at PalmOS to find out how ;D
So I'll just let the source out so yoyo and/or skeezix figure out how to do it. ;D

just a note: mikmod.zem was missing from the deployment zip file for 0.9.2T. This of course was done to save bandwidth for all the heavy load expected in the next few days right? -Incongruent

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG MY RAM ACTUALLY CAME BACK AFTER A SOFT BOOT WITHOUT HAVING TO HOTSYNCH ALL MY STUFF BACK TO THE PALM!!! wish I had a reset on my stylus though instead of searching for a pin... is this going to be fixed in 0.9.3? (j/k) ;D F'YEAH! good work. PS. I would prefer a filesystem type interface with sub folders similar to the SNESStation for PS2, but I'm a technical person so maybe thats more than most users want. The end goal of relieving load time was satisfied so I'm happy either way! will continue testing!

The modules had to be included for the categorization to work right. Which means the mikmod, stuff and gen modules from 0.9 will work with 0.9.2T (except Genesis will not work with categories).

I now run this version on my TJ-27 and it runs well with absolutely no problems! There is that disappearing act the free ram does bit by bit every time I click on Unarchived, but its all restored simply by exiting the program, which also presents no problems.
I also added missing modules manually. Namely, GoodGB, NESTOY, and the Genesis module from 0.8. It runs fine, no problems at all. Great work all around, Tinnus! Future suggestion that I can only think of is the Game Genie activation. That would be cool.
Other than that, this whole project is as about as close to perfection as one could ask, at least as far as I can see. You're doing some great work, man. I've even registered my copy of Lightspeed to enjoy it permanently, as what overclocking it provides, definitely helps with LJP and I think ZQuake (as far as I can tell).

On the Zodiac, this release is broken. None of the Hi+ stuff displays, it just comes up with a black screen. Happens on NES, SNES, and GEN.

0.9.1T: SMS: Tapping the in Game GUI locks emulation ==> soft reset 0.9.2T: ALL: There is no way to start emulation, every time i started, everytime reseted itself or must reset myself ...will post something more accurate soon...
T|C 32MB free internal mem 14MB max heap 14MB SD free no UMDH

I also find the earlier version (v0.8) to be much more predictable on my Treo 650. The new ones crashes too much! Is there any plans to work on the stability?

Well I finally got off my lazy butt and installed this version of LJP on my palm. So far it looks like it is working and that the bugs with the OSD and assigning the buttons for the SNES are fixed. I haven't tried the SMS or GG yet (I'll try it later.) I did notice one bug. If I click on the Unarchived category I lose 4K of Free RAM. It comes back if I leave LJP though.
Ok, I just tested SMS and GG. I tried Sonic and a couple others for GG and it works. Also the games I tried for SMS work as well.

Good to see the forums up again! Doesn't look any different though... I originally got that fancy upgrading message locking me out, but oh well... Anyways, yeah I love the GG module, in addition to Sonic games, I have the Streets of Rage games. The second one is fun to play...

So, do you notice any memory leaks? Like when you come back you have about 300k less RAM? Try clicking and clicking and changing options in the in-emulation GUI and see if it crashes after some time (about 1 min clicking around would be enough). And what's your device again? ;D
I've tested on a Zire 72 without UDMH and it shows the first leak, but not the second one.

I've tested on a Zire 72 without UDMH and it shows the first leak, but not the second one. I've notice a leaks on my Tungsten E with UDMH, every time when I click a menu in GEN or SNES I make a step to the crash. And every click after the one I get only left menu half on the screen

That's for Gens because it's not included in 092T (it's a bug in 0.8 which I've fixed for 092 but 092 has no gens).
Are you sure that happens for SNES? If so are you sure your ZEM is from 092?
