PSP Game Save Transfer to Newer EMU Help?????

Sorry if i acted strange but is there a way i could move all my game saves from my psp to this newer emu version (me) without starting all over again. It has happened to me several times in a row. Got really far in game and newer emu came out so i copied my saves in the newer emu and they never reappeared? Thank you for your help.

it really depends on what version to what version.. there've been a few redesigns as there were bugs in the saves..
