Some people at DCEmu are saying some games run faster and that the save state sound bug has been fixed. This could be an interesting development for SNES9xTYL.

I tested a couple of areas with this new release that are less than full speed in version 0.42 ME. In Storm Falcon's level in Mega Man X there wasn't any noticable speed increase (runs at about 50 fps in both versions), but the second level in Super Ghouls and Ghosts ran at about 55 fps in the new version whereas it only ran at around 50 fps in 0.42 ME.
