well the PSP slim and lite is out, and wouldnt you know, its' been hacked.
since it has 2x the ram. and an updated kernel, a new sdk to compile it with......
I think that NOW would be an excelent oppertunity to resume work on this project, start over from scratch with the new sdk, recompile it to work with the new firmware, and get it to the 100% level that everyone wants it to be at.
I KNOW yoy guys can do it! I'm sure Ruka would help, and I'm sure we could fing a japanese speaking person to join th eforum and translate for him too....
C'mon guys! pleeeeeeeassseeeeeeeeee

On the other hand, not everyone has a slim, or intends to get one O.o

On the other hand, not everyone has a slim, or intends to get one O.o that may be so.... HOWEVER, the fact still remains that anyone who owns a PSP-phat, or original is still probably running 3.52 M33-4 so that means that even IF no one has the slim, it could still be updated for the 3.52 kernel, and therefore be slim compatible.. Win/Win both ways as I see it, a better emulator for everyone

Except the developpers that haven't had the time to make their final release like they wanted to, so I doubt they have time to work on an update of this magnitude... Maybe they'll get around to it, maybe they won't.. just have to be patient I guess

Just to clarify... The slim has NOTHING that helps apps get better, at least yet, especially speed-wise. The extra RAM cannot be accessed yet, and even so it doesn't mean more speed AT ALL.
What it does is to help apps get worse, if anything, since there's no kernel mode access (yet?).

well... considering how it plays ISOs straight out of the XMB I'm fairly certain that it has full kernel access.
besides. there's a new SDK that comes with M33.. I think there might possibly be a few improvments with the 3.60 kernel

The new SDK has nothing new... isn't even a "new SDK", it's just a "bunch of stuff" used to compile apps for the slim, added to what you already have.
