Is there a new release coming? snes9x failed to run on 3.71m33 because there's no 1.5 kernel?
thanks

That has nothing to do with the emulator, wait for the 1.50 kernel patch coming to 3.71m33 in the near future
Though, from what I read, the 1.50 kernel addon will only be available to those using a "fat" version of the PSP (i.e. not the slim)

it already exists a version of snes9x done by a guy which works with the psp slims... the problem is that it is not optimised for it. (10 fps in mario kart)... if the software was rewrited for not using the kernel 1.5, no problems of compatibility would appear (even without a kernel patch of dark alex), and the optimisations would work for the psp slim too... the real problem actually is that there is no full speed snes emulator on psp slims are the developers aware of this problem ? are they doing anything to solve this problem, or do you advise us not to dream of it ?

It's slower probably because you cannot use the Media Engine in the Slim due to lack of 1.5 kernel access, then the version for slim doesn't use the ME, then it's slow.
It's not a problem of the emulator--it's thanks to us not being able to run 1.5 stuff on the slim.
I'm not sure if the code can be modified to use the ME on slims though.
