3.XX ME version for Slim released!

I just purchased my 1st PSP slim with ofw 3.72 recently. And I found this forum about Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME which is compatiable with 3.XX. Please correctly me if I'm wrong.

My PSP has the ofw 3.72.
I downloaded Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME , extracted it and put the snes9xTYL folder in PSP\Game folder. I was able to see the emulator showing up under Game ->memory stick. But my question is where would I put the ROM (.smc file) I have done some research on where to put the ROM. Almost all the posts say you can put it anywhere, which that's what I did. But I get an error message "The Game could not be started. (80020148). I have put it in the ROM folder inside of snes9xTYL. No luck either.
Can Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 ME be used on ofw 3.72?
Or Do I need to have cfw? If so, which one would be compatible with my new PSP?

you can put them wherever, but DUH you have the OFFICIAL firmware not CUSTOM firmware! Come on now why would you be able to run this on sony firmware dude!
