uhm. Im lost?

Howdy! Uhm. I just got a Silver Slim PSP (the Daxter pack) From my parents for xmas. My last PSP (Which I killed by playing too much) was a 1.5 and Im not so sure I wanna back step it. Its got the 3.71 Firmware, but I REALLY miss my SNES games.

Amongst my Searching for fixes, firmware patches and other things I have gotten seriously lost. I guess this stuff has come a long way since my old 1.5 stuff.

Is there a custom firmware I have to have? Or a special version of this Emulator? Where can I find these and can someone point me in the directions of Posts where I might find them? Ive searched the forums here but just ended up more confused than I was befor. If I have to wait I have to wait. Not a big deal I suppose seeing as I have Disgaea, FFT, and FF1 to keep me busy on UMD. However Id love to set down and play some Chrono Trigger and Megaman X games on my psp again!

go to the maxconsole.net forums and find yer info there on slim-custom-firmware. This is no longer based on 1.5 as the slim psp's are incompatible with any form of 1.5, however a slim-custom-firmware version of snes9xtyl is floating around, search this board for that

You'll need to do the Pandora battery thing to unlock your slim. Easy to find too.

note that the new batteries cannot be used as pandora's so use your old psp's battery!
