Ok i got it to install, but after the PSP logo comes up, it will go black and it will say game could not be started.

did you install the 1.5 kernel if you have a phat psp or are you using the slim version if you have a slim

You have to downgrade to 1.5 and/or install custom firmware using a Pandora battery. Check DCEmu, Maxconsole, PSPUpdates, etc for how to that, there are numerous instructions and tutorials about it.

if you have a slim don't go to 1.5, though, that will brick your psp  go to the psp downgrading forums @ maxconsole as tinnus said, they can help you more there. |
