All NES, GB and GBC Roms that I tested ran succesfully with sound. Sometimes the clie turns off when going to the launcher from the in-game menu (not a big problem, I just had to turn it on again).
When I tried to run SNES roms the message "couldn't allocate memory" appared and the clie crashed (though it only caused a soft reset). I tried both cores, BTW. NX60 and NX70 clies have about 4 megs of heap ram (I didn't use the UDMH, I heard clies have problems with it), so I guess that's the problem.
So far, as I said, NES and GB emulation is really good. ;D

The author UDMH has realease a new version, so maybe you'll have better luck with that one. I wouldnt try if you dont want to risk data though ;D

BTW: Can you map all your keyboard buttons? Yes and no... You can map *all* the keyboard buttons. And that is actually the problem. Let's say you assign the "B" button to one of the keyboard buttons of your clie. Now, whenever you press ANY of the buttons of the keyboard the emulator will consider them as "B". Therefore you have to use the hard buttons to play... and believe me, there is no easy way to play with those (unless it is a command RPG or a strategy game)... so I guess that all of us who want to play action games will need to buy a clie controller...

As good as if you were playing the real thing. Of course the only problem are the buttons, but that should be no issue if you manage to get a clie controller.

Using Beta 5 I can run the NES emulation fullscreen with smoothing. On the downside, everytime I enable sound the Clie crashes. I still can't get SNES emulation to run.

Test LJP-beta-20050127b. I found fatal alert everytime after load ROM in NES and GB module. For SNES module, If I activate UDMH, my device freeze in black screen (after load ROM). If I inactivate UDMH, my device show fatal alert : MemoryMgr.c,Line:3564 NULL handle.

LJP-beta-20050127b is the version I have installed to test the debug versions of the SNES module (unfortunately, all I have gotten so far are black screens no matter how long I leave the device on). With that version I am still able to play NES and GB games, but I have to disable sound first. You might want to try disabling sound on LJP settings and see if the NES and GB roms load. Whenever I try to run SNES roms, I also get a MemoryMgr.c problem.
Which clie model do you own? I tried to install the UDMH but after several hard resets I still have no luck. I get the following message: "MemoryMgr.c, Line:3583, Free handle" continously until I hard reset the clie.
