In Aero Fighter's 2 and 3. I can only hear the music and not the sound effects. I was just wondering if it was just the game or its not working right because pretty much all the games work with music and effects. Also these unofficial updates someone made are they going to stay in the future updates you make because they are nice to have.
Thanks Yoyofr and the smiths.

Can anyone confirm that the soundeffects do not work? Or just the game have is not working right.

Mine does not work neither (only cdda working), and it's really strange. Could those with a working version send the listing of the zip file used for aero fighters 2/3 with the crc ? Since the bios is unique, it can only be a difference in the aero fighter zip file...

my guess is that you got a messed up iso image. my version works perfectly, sound and all.

Well I have tried 2 different sources for the iso, and got exactly the same files on it, producing the same problem... Are you use you are using neocdpsp-0.5 (or 0.5u4) ?

I used neocd .5 when I had psp version 1.5, but now that I use fanjita's eboot loader, I use v.5u4

This is super weird, there is no difference of emulation in the .5u versions, same problem here. Oh well, I guess I'll have to find a windows box and test this with nebula to know for sure (I broke my windows here). (you noticed that some mp3 tracks sound like sound effects ? What is missing are the in game sounds : the shots and the explosions make no sound at all, and if you disable the music, then there is no noise at all anywhere).

I have just fixed the problem !!!
It was an inter-cpu communication error, so it couldn't work with your version neither... So I guess only a very few people actually noticed this problem!!!
Anyway, I'll release the fix... !

ive noticed if you try to change the region over from jap to usa or europe it dont like it and the sound effects or music does stop playing after trying a few games, restarting the emu sometimes fixes this or delete the ini file and restart..

Yeah I noticed this bug too. But you don't have to delete the ini, just restart the emulator and the sound comes back to normal. If you find any place where restarting the emulator does not fix the problem, tell me. Also if you can find exactly what to do to trigger this bug I am interested too (running a few games takes too much time to be able to fix it quickly, I gave up after doing this about 3 or 4 times !).
