The normal neogeo is impossible because the psp ram is only 32 mb, right? But can you use the virtual ram for make a neogeo emulator?

You would be lucky to get a frame every few seconds. Memory sticks are slow.

Too slow? Uhm... why gba/ds use the SD card for storage of roms? The MS has a speed rated at 60X or 100X, is it insufficient?

You could store a Neogeo rom on your memory stick if you wanted to, the SD devices just just holding roms there, not running them from there.
Those SD card devices are some of the worst out there too, but what they do is copy the rom you select from a loader into high speed NAND flash then it runs from there. To get about 32MB of that stuff costs about 50$, but that's not even the main problem, the PSP doesn't support it so it wouldn't know what to do with it.
Real lisenced GBA carts don't use any type of flash memory because it's too slow. The DS uses something similar to one type of currently released flash device (I forgot which one) for its carts, but they really arn't all that similar and are very far away from being compatable.
Good GBA flash carts are made entirely out of high speed NAND flash and don't make you even think about doing something hokey like using a SD card.

Hi, but is possible a perfect interaction between virtual ram and the ram? For example in King of Fighters 2000 before every encounter, is possible to load only in ram the indispensable frames, backgroud and music?

If you could do it any computer company would be ready to give you millions of dollars.
That's essentially impossible without the orignal source.

... Ok, I surrender I have just a last question... Why koF 2000 to work nice on Kawak-x for x-box? The ram of x-box is 64 MB and KoF 2000( 90 MB unzipped) is too large for it?

I have no idea, maybe Neo Geo rom images are easlily paged, I thought they would be difficult to page because of how complex the system is.
Maybe it's more possible on the PSP than I thought. I don't know much about the Neo Geo and was just going on what I knew in general about images.
I'm not someone to ask, I hoped someone who knew more about the Neo Geo would jump in earlier.

Compressed graphics? X-box and psp use the S3TC to compress the textures, i think that its the secret of kawk-x for x-box.

xbox has 64Mo of RAM, twice the PSP... kawk-x is using virtual ram thx to the xbox HDD, that's why it's running nicely (but there's slowdowns too in some games). it could be done on PSP too, but perhaps not all games would be playable...

and about only 24MB free.
regarding standard aes emulation it seems dreamcast just got it! so perhaps I(or somebody else with more free time) can adapt the new neo4all/aes release for psp...
