Results may vary from these as this is a rough guide, any problems try reseting/starting emu also if you change the region/language in the emu menu or some game menus this can cause music/sound effects to be missing.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My setup ............ Magician Lord still has problems. The 'stage clear' tune plays when you first get to the Magician Lord startup screen then loops until you get to the intro story (after you have started a game). There are issues with the sound after your game is over and then you start a new game too...it is like random tunes playing and such.
Also, there seems to be a problem after your game is done. The game gets stuck after you chose either 'yes' or 'no' in the memory card save screen.

After all, here is the bugs I found since 0.5.3-fix : - bad music in puzzle bubble (bust a move) : if you play under 60 fps, the timers of the ym2610 clearly have a problem. If you insist on playing anyway, the music stops completely after a long time. This game should play at 60 fps anyway, but it's not going to be easy to fix. - In karnov's revenge (Fighters History Dynamite), if you press X on the first screen, it crashes the psp. I fixed this one last night. If you press O instead of X, no problem.

i noticed the bust a move music, sounds wobbly as if in a fish bowl....lol . doing the checklist i went to the point of loading and game starting then played for a min to make sure it worked, maybe not long enough to notice some bugs, but some bugs do seem random as to whether its the 1st game played or not, so if u play a game 1st it fine, but if after another its not, if u get me..

Yes I know this is the horrible "memory corruption" bug : if you run something like 4 games in a row, you loose sound effects in the 4th one. This one makes me mad... ! And it can probably affect anything at random since it's clearly a memory corruption problem.
About your bugs : I can't make ADK World to crash, so if you could try again and tell me how you can do it... About Magician lord : it's fixed now, this one was relying on a raster line counter not emulated by neocdpsp. Thanks to mame for the info... !!! I have also rewriten the execution loop for the cpus, now they are correctly interlaced, which should fix the bad musics bugs.

After more testing. interesting, after formatting the datel HD and re-adding neocdpsp-0.5.3 and the 2 games giving me troubles Art of fighting in v's mode and ADK world crashing the psp i found them to work, until i used a renaming program to hide the corrupted icons in the MS view.. ive tried this about 4 times everytime the same thing happens.. before renaming games worked neocd neocd% after renaming games crash neocd _ neocd_~1% ........................................... The program i use is one thats called "renamer.exe" sits in the psp/game folder works a treat, or so i thought..... ok, so ill try another renaming proggy tried madmonkee's folder renamer.. reports game(emu) cannot be started, so i renamed them back, now work again.. ............................................. so it gets more frustrating... lol ill keep on at it, any ideas why renaming folders should make games not work

tried "PSickoPortable v0.2b.exe renamer" still causes game crashes, yet rename back to default , works again.. grrr
oh and Not playable no matter what i do.. -------------- king of monsters 2 ( plays mp3 but no graphics )
this is same as reported b4..

I don't use these renamers, I prefer to use FileAssistant++, and install all my homebrews in /PSP/homebrew, so I have nothing to hide there ! (and it can launch directly the elf too, which makes things easier when compiling programs).
Anyway, the crash might be because of a very long directory name. Could you give the exact name of the neocd folder then (copy and paste) + the names of the directories with games giving problems ? (I have totally broken my windows, so it would be complicated for me to try one of these renamers, I run only linux currently).
For kom2, yes I confirm the bug, I didn't know about it, but it looks very weird. I'll investigate more about it later.

games work with standard folder names neocd neocd% but have problems when renamed like neocd _ neocd_~1% you can just rename them manually saves time ......................................................... my diretories are standard psp/game/neocd/ADK world or art of fighting ........................................................... hope all this helps

Ok, status of these bugs : - magician lord : fixed again, sorry to have missed these the 1st time ! In fact I removed all the upload thing, I don't know what it's used for, but certainly not for changing or reading the z80 memory ! It works fine now. - ADK World : works for me - Burning fight : fixed by the magician lord fix - King of monsters 2 : fixed too (same fix applies here too)
Remaining very annoying bugs : - loosing sound effects after 3 or 4 games played - very bad sound in bust a move - oddities in Art of fighting
These 3 should keep me busy until next week at least ! ;-)

I have tried World Heroes Perfect. The game is fully playable without MP3 (I didn't tried MP3 for this game yet), but there is a button mis mapping when I try to remap the button in the game option menu.
Just reporting a very small bug. Thanks for attention.

The reason why I didn't release anything for now is that there were big changes to fix this, you don't get rid of all the upload part in the code without possible problems, and I also rewrote the main cpu frame, so it's also a possible source of problems. In short it's work in progress. I think I'll be able to release this week-end, maybe before... !

No I don't have any paypal account or anything like that, I am still doing this for fun until now ! If one day I get jobless, maybe, but until then... !
The good news is that I finally found the bug which caused some graphics to disappear from art of fighting (just play the demo of the game for 1s, and then return to the main screen by pressing start, you'll see what I mean... !). In fact it was not because of something very complicated missed by the emulator, it was because of direct changes to the ram of the game which caused the game to be corrupted. And of course there were no comments near this... In short : the code of this emulator is a mess. The timer.c part which is supposed to handle the ym2610 timers is so stupid that it's almost funny !
So well I might forget my idea to fix everything possible before the next release because it might take way too much time in these conditions, and release something anyway... Maybe tonight, after I have checked there is no major bug as it is now...

I zelurker and congratulation for your job. since the last version of neocdpsp my Kof 95 do not work any more after selectin the game mode the game crash. just want to know if somebody else got the same problem thank

To sum up : no release before the week-end, at least. I am in the middle of too many changes, and it's really to early to release anything, there would probably be too many problems. At least it won't be a 0.5.x anymore, there are really many changes this time !!! ;-)

How did you do that i always play games unzipped with zoom 1 as default resolution:as soon as the music of a stage starts to begin i get that lost-synchronization red error message but when i press the menu top left button the message disappears as soon as i get back to the game but i have to run this entire procedure every thime i enter a new stage otherwise the message will appear again and again
