I was contacted by the author of this version who proposed me the source of it. Nice stuff, except that if I wanted to use the source, I had to keep a notice against pspupdates.
Well I have nothing against pspupdates. if they want to host my files I have nothing against it, and if they want to add a file in the zip to say that the file was hosted by pspupdates, I am still ok with this.
So I think I will just ignore this source. This is not my war, and I don't want to take an active part in this. It means if someone wants something which was in 0.5u4 and which is not in the current version, I'll have to redo it from scratch, which might be more fun anyway !
So this thread is here for that : what was in 0.5u4 which is missing in the current version (except the battery indicator) ?

Thats because 0.5u4 is OLD and not much at all was really implemented yet, the more that gets emulated of the real hardware, the more like the real hardware it becomes, now its got Neo-GeoCDs real copy protection implemented, so crack your games! 0003 = YOU NEED TO CRACK THE GAME!

Actually I think this 003 suddenly appeared when I emulated the raster counter, needed by magician lord at least. I am not totally certain of this since it requires playing a few stages in a version with the raster counter and in one without the raster counter, but I almost certain.
Maybe adding savegames would help to test this kind of stuff... !!!

ok, just so you know, I own the NeoGeo CDZ, and error = 0003 is the same on the real system as well, it is a copy protection scheme on the actual NeoGeoCD games. Zelurker please read my cracking tutorial in order to understand what I'm talking about.. I made it specifically for these errors and how to get past them, even on the REAL hardware. BTW: I just want the little battery back in the Emu. hehehe
