I notice that LJP crashes on me, about once every 1-3 hours. It often happens when I go to bring up the menu (by clicking on the touchscreen). Is this expected?
When I come back, it says "recover from crash or first launch", but it doesn't resume where it crashed or anything. Is it supposed to?
Are there any workarounds for this? It's possible it's an incoming text or call--I'm not really sure. I have a Treo 755p and I keep all of my stuff (game+roms+sstates) on the flash card. I have NO other issues with my phone, and I've even done a hard reset and reinstalled everything.
Is this expected (that LJP has bugs that cause random crashes), or is there something wrong with my install somehow?

Also would like to say that I love LJP--it's working good overall. Except for the NES ROM saves, and the crash issue, it would be perfect. This has made my flights so enjoyable--I play Dragon Warrior 4 whenever I'm traveling.
Finally, I notice the crashes both when playing NES ROMS and GB ROMS, so I don't think it's specific to the emulator code.

What I do is just make sure to quicksave every once in a while; that way, when you crash you can fire LJP back up and quickload DW4 and be back at that savestate.
I've also noticed I can only play a game for max ~2.5 hours before LJP crashes.
The "recover" message is not talking about recovering your game, it is recovering your settings file for the LJP launcher after a crash.
If autorecovery of a game was a planned feature, we could also do rewind... both would be done by continually autosaving the game -- not something that would be very usable on current Palm hardware.

Oh, and I asked you guys to give me UI ideas but there was ony 1 or 2, that's one of the reasons why I didn't make much progress in the launcher since then Moreover, I'll just make the UI the way I want it and no one will have a right to complain ;D (well, unless he/she just codes a new one)

Hey... I gave plenty of UI ideas; I just presented them in text format instead of as fancy graphics....

I'm not a graphics person either. Besides - to be honest I'd be perfectly happy with an ugly but very functional UI.

Is it possible to just make the same ui as ljp and then we can later change the UI when we decide what will be good?

Well, the LJP UI wouldn't work on some platforms (although it seems to me that it should -- the input bindings just need to change).

The UI needs to be usable by mouse/touch and keys only.

Wasn't one of the main reasons of LJX to get rid of the current launcher and all the problems that come with it?

Well, I guess this is "Expected", although I realize it's not a planned feature Wonderful product. I really do love it, it's been awesome. I'll be watching for LJX. I personally don't mind the UI for LJP--I just would want it to be more stable, and I would love it if the menu wasn't so unresponsive while playing a game (like, you have to hit the desired button 5 times to get it to register during emulation).
