Cool I have to get LJX done before you just take over Hm, since I'm LJX-hijacking the thread anyway I'll just say I've not stopped LJX work, just overwhelmed by university stuff. I did manage to start to add some m**t**l**er code in there just the other day though BTW I'm sticking the thread

Ok just trying the latest version on a treo 700p and keep getting the popup screen for ringer volume followed by sped up gameply (about 5 secs) while playing Mairio on NES.
The scenerio is holding down the buttons assigned for A, B, while using the 5 way to control the direction and accidentally hitting the center button on the 5 way.
If detect calls is left unchecked this same action causes a pause.
My buttons are assigned as following
A ...........hard4 B............hard3 start.......hard2 select.....hard1
followed by up down etc on the 5way

Nope just tested in Snes and Gens and happens with that combo of press it brings up the ringer volume window for a couple of seconds followed by about 5 seconds of extremely sppeded up play. About twice as fast. I also set the volume up and down butons to be the left and right buttons while in snes and it brings up the volume ringer instead. On a brighter note 2 phone calls succesfully interupted my gameplay. There was an issue with sound though as it stayed palying the in game music stuck on the same note while the ring tone played as well. I actually accepted one of the calls and everything worked well though. I had my conversation and with the help of phoneswitch I was brought right back to LJP (or at least I think it was phone switch and not LJP. The other called I ignored which worked well and about 30 seconds later the gameplay was interupted by a voicemail popup which I also ignored and resumed game play. So other than those 2 glitches (bring up ringer volume window followed by sped up play and game sound frozen on current noted while ringtone plays with any pop up window displayed) everything seems to be working as it should. I do have to mention I was sent into a reset loop while playing ljp which was only solved by a warm reset followed by a full restore from the day before. I have since loaded the new ljp version and no probs so far.

It's a "problem" in the 700p hardkeys and their configuration codes. A few things you can do: 1: Use a different key for the start button 2: Use an app like KeySwitch (available here: mytreo.net/downloads/keyswitch,1316.html) to remap the key in LJP that you would like to use for Start - remap it to n e thing you want, because you can simply configure it to use that key that way Either of these should solve it for you BTW - 1.2 is indeed very nice, Mr. Jonas! That has to be the grate-est "About" screen I've ever seen in n e app :yes: :applaud: EDIT: Just to note, I was referring to the action when Detect calls is unchecked. Accordingly, the above (#1) will work to bypass the "pause" problem; however, it won't work to help with the new problem if Detect calls is left enabled. The KeySwitch option will indeed work though - only you'd need to correctly identify which buttons are actually causing the "bug" (unless you want to go crayzee and remap everything, which isn't necessarily a bad idea). I'm sorree I had forgotten about the issue in the first place since I'd been using my gamepad for so long

Well
I just swapped all my stuff over to a 755p and still no dice with this.
I received a pop up window for the low battery warning while in gameplay and when it was dismissed the game play resumed but at twice the speed and for about 6 seconds.
Anyone else experience this?

Yeah - I think all of it is related to the new "Detect calls" function. N e chance you could look into this a little bit, Mr. Jonas
(And BTW - some users with unanswered questions think you are neglecting your board at mtdn...)

To have calls detected (and even more to support the wiimote) one has to repeatly let events through. Now when something comes and interrupts the play, the emulator doesn't know about. But when the play continues it will try to catch up as time did run further but frames didn't avanced. Treo volume buttons shouldn't bring up the volume dialog, right. A phone call I will try to catch and pause, but a low battery warning or any other dialog is hard to catch...
to MTDN: hm, I haven't got an email. Just now I'm in Paris, I will check the mtdn forum when I back home.

Regards Henk Thats correct. I personally like all alerts coming through and dont mind sped p gameplay for a couple of seconds for this to happen. One request though. Would it be possible to add an option to disable the center button on the 5way nav to aid in the pause and volume screen being brought up on the Treos?

The problem is that when playing some games you usually need to press 2 hard buttons to achieve an action plus the 5 way in a direction all at the same time. This is fine but if you accidentally hit the center key on the 5 way this brings up the ringer volume screen and/or a game pause as if you were pushing the start/pause buttton. (No matter where the start/pause button is assigned)
I have observed this action in the last couple of ljp versions and in a nes gens and snes emulators.
On my treos I usually use the power/hard3/hard4 as my primary buttons in each emulator, while the select/start buttons are assigned to hard1/hard2/00002000 depending on the system.
I think the pause ringervolume window come up in not only that scenario but anytime 4 buttons are pressed at the same time. I'm not positive about that though.
Does that help explain it better?

ya.. the volume can be between 0 -> 200 it would be cool for a little popup to come on the screen for a second or two to denote the setting when you press vol rocker up/down. not needed by any means, just be cool.

I`m speak spanish sorry for the english but i have a problem with the last stable version of LJP the 1.2 When I play Nes games in my treo 650 this paralyses all and not run, y reset my treo and this work greater for some time, before This is repeated, i havent this problem with another versions do you know this problem? Or Some Problem.

UDMH I have already installed and working, but i change the LjP for the version 1.1 this works good in my treo do you know this problem when i run Snes in my treo 650 Failed to alloc 116kb 6144kb FtrMem for ROM Stack use 10%
Before i reset my treo this works greater in Snes Games and all games.

Hi guys, i must admit ive been away from the palm stuff for awhile, but just recently started using my trusty treo 650 again. Then i stumbled into a thread about wiimotes and Treo. Can it be true!!!
Is there an ETA on a stable version of Wiimote with LJP? That is my only question for now. I downloaded 1.2 and will be trying that tonight. Ive been addicted to Ogre Battle for SNES. Dont know why that game is so addicting.
Thanks for any update...been a long time fan for years of you guys. I also have zdoom and all those products which i will be updating tonight to their newest versions.

i'm a current user of LJP i'd tried all updates 1.2 is real good but with a great truble, will the save state and internal save of games in NES work again, i love play games with my Keyboard but not much use if i can't save progres, i dance as i see control changer buton at last i could save in zelda but it is no use.
