Hi, when I first got LJP I only put the SNES .zem files onto my Centro, but now I'm wanting to play some Genesis games as well. I've put the Gens .zem on Centro in the right folders and everything, but the LJP launcher will only let me select SNES.
I'm guessing I need to reinstall my LJP, but will I be able to keep all my save states and all that? I'm like 20 hours into FFVI hehe.
Thanks guys.

You need Genesis ROMs too, IIRC.

I have around 30 Genesis ROMS on my card in the right folders, it just won't let me access them from the LJP menu.

I had them in the 'Genz' folder, but, thinking that possibly wasn't correct, I put them into the SMS (Sega Master System?) folder, and same thing, I can only select SNES from the LJP launcher.

If you can't select a system from the dropdown list, that means LJP can't find the matching .zem file. All .zem files should go in the folder /Palm/Programs/LJP/ .
Genesis roms go in the folder /Palm/Programs/LJP/Genz/Roms/ .

I've got everything in the right place, even deleted the LJP files (milkmod, stuff, SNES, gens, etc.) and re-put them on my card...still only getting SNES.

Try deleting your ljp.ini file.

Excuse me for not introducing myself in a proper way, if there has to be. But I saw this and caught my interest, before I signed up. I'm having the same problem too. I tried everything that everyone has recommended, but none of it hasn't worked for me.
UPDATE: Ok, I tried different extensions. Apparently it's only compatible with ".bin" and ".smd" extensions. Would it be safe to change the ."gen" extension to any of those? Or do I need some sort of program. Also, I don't mean to "bump" this, I didn't check the date. I know how forum people hate that >.>

I guess it isn't a big deal. About the .gen extension, I have no clue, but I guess it might work. Try it and tell us.

Oh yeah, I looked back and found the program. I didn't know if it's safe to just rename it, so I used that.
