Button problem Palm T|X

I tried searching for this but I'm not getting any results when I search for anything so I figured I would put this in a new thread. Please forgive me if it has been covered before.

I have a Palm T|X and the roms are loading fine, running fine, etc.

The problem I have is that my left and right (in the 5-way) are not working. Is this a problem with my palm? LJP reads it fine in the config screen but not while running the games. This is the same in both NES and GB mode.

So, I monkeyed around and set the input for the individual game and it works now.

You could also have set the global inputs; some versions of LJP default to the older 5-way input signals and so the left and right don't work until you set them yourself.
