Super Mario Kart SNES

LJP newer versions seem not to support super mario kart snes anymore, is that true?

Everytime when I want to play mario kart, I have to downgrade LJP to RC8, 1.1 and 1.2 doesn't work.
They show nintendo logo, make the coin noise and freeze.

Is there any config to do on LJP 1.2 to play mario kart on my TX?

The question is why it wont(?) be fixed? We know it works, We know LJP can emulate it, so whatever was changed between rc2 and rc3 why not change it back so that it works?
