Yes; you have to use something like E2InternalMemory -- not sure if there is such a thing for the 650. What it does is makes a virtual "internal" card that shows up in the OS just like an external one. You'll have to do a lot of searching and testing to see if this'll actualy work on a 650 though... I suspect it won't. Easier to repair the card slot.

Cool,I looked into what you told me about and it works with the treo650
I downloaded "E2internaldrive" and it shows up in my card info directory as:
Card: BUILTIN Type: DiskOnChip Size:18.0 MB Free of 23.7 MB
lol, now here's a new problem. I am not terribly savvy with these types of things, and I don't want to be a trouble but how does it work?

For future reference there is an edit button so you don't have to make a new post every time you want to say something new. Anyway, I'd say your best bet would be to use a card reader software, to make your treo act as a usb device when plugged into your computer. I found this with a half a second of googling. www.mobile-stream.com/cardreader.html

Or, you can just sync files to the internal drive by tagging them with .jpg and renaming them using Filez, Resco Explorer, or something similar afterward. Or, you can use WiFile, Resco Explorer, or some other similar tool to just transfer the files to the card via your network connection. Using card reader or the one that comes with the LifeDrive and a few Tungsten devices for free is probably the fastest and most painless way though.

I just got done beating Zelda on the NES and the emulator works awesome. Its extremely user friendly and the interface is great.
I am having a problem with the snes emulator though. I've tried running several roms I get an error:
cannot sys_alloc 131072 bytes free ram:174/88KB Stack use 10%
then I push okay and then it says "out of memory"
I assume I dont have the memory in my phone to run the roms but I thought I'd ask.
I'll try some of the other systems and see what happens. Great work though guys. LJP is awesome. It beats all the stupid palm games I've found so far and when I accidently hit the home key with my fat thumb it dosent exit my game (Yes!)
...
Tried out the Master System and its working okay.
Okay, just tried the genesis emulator but it isnt reading my roms. The Genesis dosent even show up on my list. It's only showing NES and SMS but no GEN.

Please read the sticky threads They'll tell you all you need to know. Of course, most people get confused regarding the phones and the NVFS thread, because it titles itself as being for Lifedrives and T|Xes. Just follow the suggestions for the T|X: UDMH is required, CleanStart (replaces UnCache and is free) is a good idea, and PXA Clocker or WarpSpeed are highly recommended for SNES and Genesis. You'll probably have the same error with Genesis you're having with SNES. Then again, if you have a really old phone (you don't mention the model), it's possible it's a RAM-based system and not NVFS. In that case, your problem is indeed that you've got too much stuff on your phone.

If anyone here has the Pre with Classic, could you make one of these vids showing any differences in installation between that and an older device with Palm OS? Also maybe give a little demo of how smooth and playable the games are with the Pre. I'm not sure whether I should get the Pre or wait for the Nokia N900 which runs maemo (debian based) and NES/SNES emulation is one of the deciding factors. Thanks.
