I just recently installed Lightspeed-the full/payed for version. I changed some of the clocks from 208x1.5 to 208x2.5 on some of the apps I use and could use the speed boost. I could notice a big difference in the speed of my launcher, especialy my launcher: when the apps button was hit the white screen took much longer to go away and switch to the launcher. I thought that I might of turned my speed too high so I lowered it down to 208x2, but it is still quit a bit more slow then it was previously (without lightspeed). I do have the new version of lightspeed and I downloaded it from their site. Any suggestions? Or should I just uninstall and throw $20 down the drain?

Lightspeed will not improve overall performance in launching/switching applications; in fact in most cases it will cause slower performance in that area. This is because it adds a call each time an application is exited or entered that checks what the new clock speed should be and changes it. That takes a measurable amount of time.
It will, however greatly improve performance inside individual applications (more FPS in emulators or Quake, etc) or can give decreased performance and additional battery life in non-intensive applications.
You have to decide if that functionality is important enough to live with a little extra lag while going between programs.
By the way...there is a reason those programs have a free trial. If you didn't like it, why did you pay for the full version? And if you didn't take advantage of the trial and just bought the full version without even trying it first, well that's your own fault and you only have yourself to blame for wasted money.

Don't get me wrong, I love what its done for me-ljp wise. I was just checking to see if there was a way to decrease this lag. But thanks for the help.

You can turn it off when not using LJP, and only enable it when you're about to play. That should get rid of most of the extra lag.
