hello guys and girls im new to this site.
I basically need alot of help with installing snesx i know everybody has posted this plenty of times so for anyone who has the time or patience would they please send me the step by step instructions or send me a link which will.
All i have is the cfw and i have watched videos and read heaps of tut's so help is much appreciated concidering most vid & text tut's are bits and pieces doesn't help.
most likely ive missed something or im doing something wrong so help would be greatly appreciated ...Thanks

First of all: are you on a PSP slim or a fat? and which version of cfw are you running?

fat psp 3.71 M33-2 but in recovery mode i set it to 1.5 kernel sorry i forgot to mention the details  |

place snes9xtyl in /psp/game150/snes9xtyl and /psp/game150/snes9xtyl% (so /psp/game150/snes9xtyl/eboot.pbp) however apparently the latest snes9x, running on the 3.x kernel, is faster and doesn't need 1.5 so get this: dl.qj.net/Super-Nintendo-SNES/pg/12/fid/16875/catid/135and put it like this /psp/game/snes9xtyl/snes9xtyl/eboot.pbp (not the eboot from 1.5!) and set the kernel back to 3.71 |

gta hasn't been required since the surface of cfw, though it was required for a while in order to downgrade/upgrade.. but since the surface of the pandora battery, gta is utterly obsolete.. you'll never have to use it

yea i kno mate... thats why i posted this like i said i had been given bits and pieces i wanted full instructions
Is that ok? if your not going to offer help dont waste your time ..LIKE I SAID I READ TUT"S AND WATCH VIDS...cant help what people produce mate OK??

Yea Ive tried that
you see where im coming from with the bits & pieces of instructions?
"go into the folder called "psp" (without the quotes) and then into game150, and make snes9xtyl a subfolder of that. Put your eboot into snes9xtyl"
That cant be all i need to do?!?

Once that's done snes9xTYL should show up under the "game" section under "memory stick" on your psp, just run it, and see what happens... if it doesn't work, let us know

ok so here it is when i attempt to run snes9x_tyl i get the "this Game Could not be started error
on my root is this ,UMDEMULATOR, Utils, Video, psp ,music, picture cso, iso & MP_Root
in psp Ive got folders called common, game ,save data, system, theme, game150, & and photo
ive taken everything out of game so i can try again...
so what is the utils folder for cos i don't know something called eboot signature & Touch
anything else please ask

I would strongly recommend putting th snes9xTYL folder in GAME150, not GAME... and if that doesn't work, you probably didn't give us correct information on your firmware/PSP...

hey a friend game me some folders for game 150 and i got it workn so thanks for your help
i did initially have snes9xtyl folder in game 150 but had no success but whatever happend now ive got it running i just wish i knew how to get it goin myself
