Both NES and SNES have native resolutions of 256x224 which, when the full-screen option is selected in LJP, results in a nearly-full screen playing display -- no problems here.
However, Genesis also supports resolutions of 256x224. Yet, when I play my Genesis games, the playing display screen is very small (despite having chosen "Fullx1.25(hi+)" from the video options). It appears as if it is running at 320x224, thus making LJP shrink it in order to fit the display on my Treo 680's 320x320 screen. But because the display has been shrunk, it can get very difficult to read the very tiny text.
Is there any way I can force the Genesis games to display at 256x224 so that most of the phone's screen is efficiently used? Or is this game/ROM specific?

I don't believe the resolutions are different (only the refresh rate, 50Hz vs. 60Hz). I tried out other versions of my ROM, and the same issue keeps happening where the game in question (Might and Magic 2: Gates to Another World) does not get displayed in true full-screen fashion.
Was this particular game coded to be run as 320x224?

*bump*
Anyone? Why can't Genesis games seem to be displayed in true full-screen mode (like the SNES games) within LJP? A lot of the screen is wasted, and it's difficult to see the tiny text unless it is really zoomed in.

....yeah the voice stuff is turned off because of some bug regarding the internal and external buffers/frequencies (ie the PCM stuff is 8KHz but the PalmOS stream is 44). I turned it on in LJX and it sounds mostly terrible Also the x1.25 option always worked for me in older versions... it does work in LJX though What I'm considering actually is to get a different (better) codebase for Genesis instead of Genesis Plus, probably PicoDrive Might also get a new one for SNES; even though the current one is very optimized, it's also old and completely bloated. edit: sorry for not working much on LJX btw, lost of other stuff to do I do have some new motivation though since I just got myself a PS3 and will also a Pandora soon

So...any chance that the Genesis full-screen issue might be fixed in LJP for version 1.3? Would love to be able to play my Genesis games without losing so much screen space...

Tinnus: Voice functions would be nice, because Commander Keen in Sonic is a lot cooler with somebody yelling, "This, is SEGA!" from a voice clip I made overwriting the standard sega sound. Also, DAC drums don't seem to work sometimes and I just noticed Guinea Pig plays back the Voice files perfectly. I'm sorry about getting so picky about all of this, but I'm noticing a lot more errors now that I've started genesis programming. I never really touched the Genesis sound code in LJP actually, but I'm looking into that in LJX. Either I get good-sounding everything but no wave sound, or wave sound and cheesy everything. In any case I'll probably get the Picodrive codebase or something in there instead...
