Hi, I'm putting LJP on my tungsten E2, from what I've read on the fourms, it's not strong enough of a machine to use all the functions of the program, but some is better than none. I've watched the tutorial, but I guess I'm just slow when it comes to using my palm. Alright, so I put my SD card into my computer and here's my problem, it's never been used with my E2, only with my camera, does this mean that I just have to create a directory PALM/Programs/Ljp and put the stuff there? because if I create it, I feel like something is wrong, like it seems that it should already exist (the palm/programs part at least) So am I correct? I have to completely create this directory for the files? Thanks, Lemur

Thanks! got it! But when i use genesis the message "out of memory loading PNO 3352kb" does that mean that the tungsten E2 only has enough memory to run NES?

So what does an error "out of memory loading" mean?

I've found it said that I need to be careful with that if I have a Palm Tungsten E2. they said that this machine has is very unreliable with most versions of UDMH, is it safe to use from past experience of others here?

I'm not sure if anyone here has had much experience with the TE2 -- that said, since UDMH 5 came out, it's been rock solid on pretty much everything; UDMH 3 came out around the same time as the TE2 became popular, and had some major issues with that device. It might be that UDMH 5 will reveal some issues with some of your other software, but it itself actually fixes a few bugs that were in Palm's memory management routines in the TE2 IIRC.

Ok, here's the update, I'm currently running the free trial of the hack, and when I load any game in genz (same place I encountered the ram problem), lion king for example, it says cannot sys_alloc 393216 bytes. Free ram: 172/153kb Stack use 10%
lion OK king.bin Ok
what does this mean? is it a problem with my configuring the hack? or is this an ljp issue i have to correct, maybe I messed ljp up somehow?

It probably means you have to manually increase the amount of free mem UDMH reports for LJP to 20000k
It also looks like you might not have enough DB Cache free to run the game; you'll need at least 8MB free.
