Hey Guys, I'm having a problem with Duke Nukem on my Treo 755p. I know Yoyofr didn't port it but I figure this would still be a good place to find out if anybody else had problems/success.. I can't assign any QWERTY keys at the launcher screen.. only the ones above like the 5-way and such.. I don't have this problem with ZDoomZ, LJP or any of those programs.. Does Duke for palm not support 755p? It says right in the docs that it support treo qwerty keys.. hmm

I fear the check for Treo is a bit too narrow. Did I never released an update which fixed it? Have you checked the latest version from my website? www.metaviewsoft.de it is. |

Hi Metaview! thanks for the reply and thanks for making all these great apps!  I'm using v1.9g but it doesn't recognize any key presses in the controller config page. ZQuake, ZDoomZ.. they all work fine. I was going to download the source of Duke and compare the input code from ZDoomZ but I'm really only a programmer in the VERY loosest sense of the word  |

Looking at the code, it seems the 755 check is already inside, but anyway, I will make a last touch of the code and add a general HS-extension check. Probably over the weekend. In memorial of DNF, R.I.P.

thanks Metaview! Is there anything I can do to help? debugging wise? I can't believe nobody else using a 755p has had this problem besides me.. but I don't have this problem with any of your (or Tinnus') programs. oh and that IS really sad about DNF  but I have confidence that somebody will pick it up.. either some investors or a 3rd party developer. It saddens me but at the same time I really think 3DRealms had it coming! I've seen so many indie mods and total conversion get A LOT done with small teams of amateurs and ZERO funding. Seems like with all their money and resources they could've finish in 12 years! |

I just found another program with the same behavior and that's Palm Mame. Given the option between Targus, Palm, Stow QWERTY, Stow AZERTY, none of them work... I'm assuming that instead of doing auto detection like your programs that these are manual keyboard selects and either none of those listed are for 755p or something is wrong with my Treo.. but I doubt it since no other programs behaves this way..

I have a version but it crashes with Music on. Some memory corruption/stock overflow thing. Do you wanna test it? Send me an email.
