Hey Guyz
Just a quick question........i have an old NES controller, i was wondering would i be able to like cut the end of it and rewire the end of a hotsync cable onto it and use it as a controller with my pda? lol i hope that made sense..

Probably not, maybe there's a remote chance you could do that with a serial cable but then again you'd need to write a driver for it.
So it's practically impossible.

If you wanted to get crazy, you could pop off your hard buttons on the palm, and sodder the contacts to the controller if you're into that type of thing... but that would only allow you to do that for each of the buttons that already exist on the palm... and depending on the inner workings of the 5 way joystick, I don't think you could wire that up to your nes pad... hmm.... its just generally a bad idea. but if you want anyone to do it, goto hackaday.com. If anyone could do it, they could.

well... I'll never gonna open my precious pda to make some soldering work... but... it would be very funny to see some frankinstenian palm This is much like the console scene... when you want to rip off the top case of your gamecube just to be able to use normal 12cm. Dvd's...
