suggesstions for button configurations

i tried LJP on my PALM and it worked pretty well,but i realized that it has the same problem with other emulators for palm. You can't neither have a button combination by pressing two hard buttons at the same time nor by tapping two areas from the screen at the same time (maybe the people from PALM designed it that way),
but i also found out that you by pressing one hard button and tapping a part of the screen that's already configured as a button for the emulator as the second button you'll be able to have a button combination. i tried this on "Bomberman Quest" for GBC where there are some areas in the game that requires to press a button for jump and another for the direction to be able to go through.

another problem i noticed in LJP is that after you configure a button on a part of the screen, once you use it it will be disabled. for example when i played "Bomberman Quest" on LJP i set the "B" button on the top right part of the screen then when i tapped on that screen it worked, but when i tapped on that part again, nothing happens. i wonder why

maybe it would be better if LJP has more on-screen buttons like what the people from GAMBIT STUDIOS did to LIBERTY.

You're supposed to be able to press 2 hard buttons at the same time. I suppose you're using a Treo 600? Some devices have trouble with that.

ooh sorry i forgot to say that i am using a zire 31...

if i press a button from the 5- way navigator i cannot press another button.

Hum yeah I think I recall Zire 31 users not being able to use 2 buttons at a time... You're using that special Zire 31 version right?

Wel anyway it's already great that LJP is running on a Zire 31. (even SNES!)

stranger725: dmitrygr's LifeKeys now supports the Zire 31, so should let you press multiple hard buttons at the same time.

Hey Tinnus... you're supposed to press 2 hard keys at a time... but... if you want to press a hard button and a screen button at the same time?? I've tested and doesn't works...

I'll take a look at that and see if it can be done to press screen + hard. I believe screen+screen would be a little more difficult, but doable.
