After running snes once, the second time it gives me a not enough memory error, with UDMH. I do a soft reset, and i can get one run out of it. Is this a common problem for the T5, all palms, and is there anything besides resetting to fix it? Thanks for any replies.

It's probably a heap fragmentation problem, since SNES uses a lot of memory it can fragment it so much. If a soft reset restores it, not too much to worry about.

Is there anything else i can do (defrag it)? Will this maybe be fixed with the next version of LJP? Does anyone else with a T5 that has this problem? Thanks for any info.

The only thing I can think of is make a backup of all the files on your palm, do a hard reset, and then restore the files. I don't know if this will solve your problem though.

Will this maybe be fixed with the next version of LJP? No because it's not a problem with LJP. It's a normal consequence of memory use.

Make sure that you have enabled "clean up memory" in udmh for LJP. Then make sure after every time you run one snes game, exit LJP, and reopen LJP. This will have cleaned up your ram and you should be able to play again without a crash. you must exit ljp after every time you play a game (i had this problem).

I decided to install the test version of LJP for the T5 on my device and after loading a ROM into the module, I noticed that the program registers 3437K Free RAM. The unit registers 13.0 MB of available memory on the device (not internal drive which has 69.0 MB). The game will not start citing "out of memory". I don't have UDMH for the Palm at this time thinking that I had enough memory. Is this necessary? Why doesn't LJP and the unit see the same amount of free memory? Thanks.

Because they see different areas of the memory. The 'unit' as you say report free storage memory while LJP reads (and needs) 'heap' memory which can't be raised unless you use UDMH.

I see. Now I finally understand what UDMH does. I think I'll wait for the next LJP version before installing UDMH. I take it that a game that is 2.43 MB zipped is still larger than the available free RAM when it is running.
Just in case you haven't had enough accolades, this program rocks. Who would have thought great emulation for GBC with sound? Great job. I'm looking forward to the next version and then trying out the SNES module.
