I can't get the snes em to work on my Life drive. I set up udmh and run the em, but then it says "out of memory". If I tap the screen, I see the rom name, but then it resets. Help me out please!!!!!

The SNES module uses a lot of dynamic memory. How much free ram do you have? You can find out by looking on the LJP launcher where it says Free RAM. If you don't have enough you can use UDMH (you can get it from here palmpowerups.com/) which will use the free space on your palm as dynamic memory. Chances are you will need UDMH to use the SNES module.

I have a lot of free ram. About 33000. That is why I am suprised SNES is not working. Any other thoughts?

The life drive has only 10 meg ram. A large amount of it is occupied by the OS. I remember the usable free ram is around 6 meg. The other storage ram is on the hard disk. You can't use it even with UMDH. UMDH is only usefull for older devices without NVFS, which have real RAM but can't access it in the usual way.

Is that what it says on the LJP launcher? Because the free space on your palm is totally different from the Dynamic memory your palm has.

The Lifedrive has a maximum of 6MB dynamic memory, with or without UDMH and this can't be helped.

Is it possible to change or fix LJP snes so tht it can be played on a Lifedrive or a Palm with a low amount of RAM?

Mosy likely not, sorry. SNES is one of the more worked on and optimized modules of LJP. But I think it ought to work with UDMH, I thought it did on the T5...

The website for UDMH doesn't list the LifeDrive as one of the palms it will work for so I would try the 7 day demo of it. If it doesn't work I would e-mail Dmitry and ask him to try to get it to work for the LifeDrive.

Hello, UDMH seems to work fine on my LifeDrive. I set it to 16k, which LJP 0.9.2T recognizes. And SNES runs fine. I'm playing AD&D - Eye of the Beholder. I hope this helps. -jackie
