Great idea for the board. It should help with sorting things out.
The only problem at the moment on the TJ37 is the video (using beta3). All of the modules load and run with audio. The exception is using the ASM core with SNES. It locks up after about ~60 seconds of playing sound.
Not sure of the other errors as the screen is blank when tapping the lower left of the screen the three times before the sound starts. I can only assume that they are video related to some extent. Catch 22 eh?
It is at least really nice to hear the full emulation of the sound... as much as the old skewl consoles could output in all their glory.
Great work as always guys! ;D

Perhaps it's related to the "transition effect" before loading the emulation module. If it's the case, you should be able to access the GUI within emulation and go back to launcher, but it's tricky. You'll need to launch the emu & when you hear the sound of the emulated rom, tap the screen in the center, then try to tap the screen in the bottom right hand corner.

As Kyle stated in his email response ALL modules are working without any problems. I'm actually supprised at how the TJ is handling it. *says weeeeeeeeeeee to yoyofr master ;D And I thought today was going to be a total waste. I have to say, Firestorm's GBAz is blankedy blank blank blankedy blankn crap compared to this. The OSD controls and everything about this emu are top notch. Even if the other modules are even half of what these first three are, I would be happy with them. Excellent work! Too many hours my eyes have been open... I will donate some mulla tomorrow for all of the hard work. Some of the code was ported, of course, so congrats to all those whose efforts went into LJP. SNES on my palm, what the hell!!!! BTW You did say the SW2 or the second option in the SNES module wasn't working yet right? It caused me to have to exit to the launcher and restart the ROM when I tried it, no biggie. With the way things run I don't think I need it.?SW2 works in SNES, it just takes a reset. l8r

As with all of the previous versions, UDMH not required.
Still no crashes or lock-ups.
With the previous versions I had to set the frame skip to 3-5 for GB/GBC and NES to get it to emulate close to 100% but still playable. With the change in the sound on this release I can set the frame skip to 0 and get nothing less than 100% (with full screen) emulation on GB/GBC and NES. Awesome work.
Of course, this means that SNES runs better too. Not quite full speed, but there are little spurts in some ROMs where it runs 100%. Normally not a lot of stuff happening on the screen when that happens. I can set it to ~3-5 frame skip and it's playable without noticing too much of a drag. Again, it depends on the ROM.
Glad that the emulator passed the need for those PNO boxes. A little annoying, but neccesary at the time.
Thanks again

For me, I have it running 90-100% speed w/occational slowdown. By turning off the sound in the launcher prefs, roms work great, and have no noticible dif by using the gc10. Great job yoyofr, This prog just completed my tj37. for some reason my smrpg rom doesnt work. but earthbound, secret of mana and chrono trig work great. Oh and for those with 37s , the camera button works extremely well as a start or select button, especialy w/gc10

Agreed. The camera button is perfect for that. That's the way I've had mine setup as well. It leaves only using one of the corner areas on the display for a button. I tried mapping the camera lens switch too when I first started mapping That would have been wierd, and definitely a first, if it worked. And without sound all of my ROMs run full speed. I haven't played much SNES to notice a slow down with the sound off. Still, anything above 90% is excellent for my tastes. As for Beta 6, the transition effects do still cause the black screen and all of the other symptoms that went along with that. So for TJ, and what other threads say, all? Clie's, can use Beta 5 for now.

Well, for me it really depends on what ROM that you're running. I'm not sure if you have a GC10. If not, I would recommend trying to find one. Playing almost any Palm game on a Clie without one is near impossible. With the GC10 I can map all of the buttons but L, R and Select. For the screen areas I just use the top-left for L and top-right for R. Select gets the lower-left corner. Another trick is that you can use the scroll button keypress. If your GC is right over it, and not too far up, you can easily press in the middle of your GC without pressing a button and it will press the scroll button underneath. This does put a flex on the GC and Clie so you would want to be really careful. For now I'm not needing Select on a button that badly, but it does work. I have actually been meaning to stick something underneath the GC to make it sit right on top of the button. Maybe a piece of rubber...
Keep in mind that for the X and Y buttons to work directly you have to set them to Game1 and Game2 in the GC driver screen. You can use them as control functions to press with another key (left and right), but that's more button pressing.
Beta6b now shows all of the transitions without causing a BSOD. The only problem that I have now is loading a saved ROM (gives a frozen screen effect when in the ROM afterwards). Everything else is golden.
