Can I hope to get this to work in any way for Palm Tungsten T?
It hasn't worked so far, and thats with trying to load regular game boy games.

it's strange... How much dynamic heap size has the Tungsten T and how much free storage memory ? Do you get a specific error message ?
As I don't own such a device, I can't be of any help if you don't give me more details...

I believe the T|T has 700kb of dynamic heap . Your gonna need to hack that for sure! it has 16mb of regular storage i think.

So the error is:
Load PNO Free RAM: 689k
followed by the fatal alert
MemoryMgr.c, Line:3564, NULL handle

I only asked without reporting the error before because I'd figured that someone out there would know if it was even possible for it to work on the tungsten T. I believe that the heap is as small as stated above, but I do have 12M free space on the palm itself as I use ZLauncher for all my apps.
I do like this program though, and I do also know that GB and GBC can be made to work on the Tungsten (Firestorm). Anyone who creates a freeware product of quality has my respect (and donations if I end up using the product...), so it would really rock if I could get it to work on my handheld.
Thanks for the hasty reply. Crimson Fire has said nothing about why I don't get sound on Firestorm in 2 days. I paid for their software. Goes to show you what happens AFTER they get your money.

1/ install the UDMH (you'll find a topic on these board) in order to have more dynamic heap. 700K is definitely too short. 2/ be sure to have the latest beta of ljp installed (from 2005/01/26). I definitely need to think of a "build on xxxxxx" shown in the GUI so that you can be sure of the beta version you use

I tested LJP on my brothers TT and it will work if you use the UDMH hack. We've been able to get GB and NES games to work. No SNES though. It says that there isn't enough memory.

Same here, even 4 mbit SNES ROMS won't load, I get
"Load PNO Free RAM: 6805K'",
followed by
"PNO Loaded Free RAM: 6513K"
then it errors out with a fatal alert "LJ for PalmOS has requested a 557056-byte non movable chunk dynamic memory and system is unable to satisfy that request".
Any ideas as to how much free memory would be required? Or won't it ever work on a T|T? NES emu works fine btw.

Yep. UDMH hack worked like a charm. I'm running GBC just fine now. Thanks.
Cheers.

Tried Beta 5, no improvement on the SNES front for good old T|T. UDMH works like a charm for NES/GB/GBC, this I can confirm. But SNES support would be oh so nice .
